Seville. The last stop on our little Spanish holiday.
Train from Cordoba just forty or so minutes. Got to our hotel and we’re offered the chance of an upgrade to a suite no less with great views. Of course it costs more. But the view from the private balcony is amazing.

Got ourselves sorted and went for a little walk. Lots of little bars and restaurants – place heaving with people. Did a circuit of the cathedral which is absolutely massive. Managed to get in for a bit of a peek but most closed off as they were preparing for 6:00 pm mass. Massively Gothic.
The Christmas market had just opened up. A number of outlets selling everything you need to create your Christmas nativity scene. You can have the simple Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus set. Or you can buy the inn, a range of livestock, oasis, plants, kings, shepherds, angels whatever.
Stopped off on the way back to the hotel and bought some wine, cheese, bread and jamon. A little late lunch on the terrace.
If you’ve got your sound on you’ll be treated to th 6:00 p.m. bells. You’ll also here the children next door, the party going on in the downstairs patio and possibly the band playing a couple of blocks away. It’s a noisy town on Saturday afternoon.
