This is really just me trying to create a number of posts so I can play with layout and presentation. Have decided to abandon Blogger as is caused too many frustrations (cf Julia Davidson’s cries of anguish as she continues to battle with it). So lets see what wordpress can come up with.

So the painters are here at present – painting the skirting boards so we will be able to leave the place looking spic and span post our little Labour Weekend flood. Just have a bookcase to be made when we return.

The men from St Vincent de Paul’s came this morning and took out old dining table, chairs and sideboard. No one wanted them on trade me for a measly $500. And two bikes including one barely ridden lady’s number

That was just another noticeable shake.

Once a couple of boxes are relocated Julia’s car will be back in the garage for the first time this year.

And now its back into the garden to keep tidying until the next lot of rain comes.
